SOVI GRIS
2024
IN THE WINERY
Souvignier Gris is a fungus-resistant white wine variety newly cultured in 1983.
The variety has good peronospora resistance and very good resistance to Oidium
and Botrytis. Parent varieties Seyval as mother and Zahringer as father. The grape
is medium to large, loose-berried. The berries are red with thick skin and have a
very fleshy pulp.
IN THE WINE CELLAR
Short skin contact in the wine press, fermentation at controlled temperature in
steel tanks lead to a harmonious, juicy drinking pleasure.
IN THE GLASS
Sovi Gris is a full-bodied, fruity wine with aromas of ripe apple, peach, clove and
lychee.
AT THE TABLE
Suitable as a starter, aperitif, as well as an accompaniment to light Italian starters
and fish dishes.

IN THE WINERY
This Pinot Grigio thrives in an excellent location on the southern slope of Lake
Monticolo/Montiggl at an altitude of about 490 meters. The vines grow on
moraine gravel soils rich in porphyry and volcanic rock.
IN THE WINE CELLAR
The juice is obtained through gentle whole-cluster pressing. The wine is aged to
100% in wooden barrels and bottled after 6 months on the
fine yeast.
IN THE GLASS
Alpine elegance in the nose with fruity notes of apple, quince, pear and yellow
fruit.
The Mediterranean strength as well as a peppery and spice taste due the wood,
make this Pinot Grigio so special.
To drink, it is juicy and rich of essence, with a great acidity and a long finish.
AT THE TABLE
Excellent choise as aperitif and can be paired with white meat dishes and grilled
fish. The ideal drinking temperature is between 8-10°C.

Unique location in Monticolo/Montiggl, rooted in mineral porphyry rock. Young
plantation with already great, mature grapes withe enormous potential.
IN THE WINE CELLAR
Whole grape pressing and aged in 300l wooden barrels. Biological acid
degradation. Storage on the fine yeast for 6 months.
IN THE GLASS
The Chardonnay shines in a bright yellow. Aromas of banana, ripe Golden Delicious
and vanilla convey a slight Caribbean flair. In the drink it has a strong texture and a
surprisingly pleasant and long-lasting finish. Mild and nevertheless present
acidity.
AT THE TABLE
Perfect as an aperitif and paired with grilled fish and prawns, smoked salmon,
white meat, all appetizers. Drinking temperature: 8-10°C.

IN THE WINERY
A great combination of two top locations around the Lake Monticolo/Montiggl.
The old and valuable vines in a unique position on moraine hills in Cornaiano/
Girlan near the Hotel Weinegg and on mineral-rich porphyry soil in Monticolo/
Montiggl complement each other and produce grapes full of character.
IN THE WINE CELLAR
After a short contact with the peel, a gentle pressing takes place. The fermentation
takes place to 100% in large wooden barrels. The wine matures for 6 months on
fine yeast before being bottled.
IN THE GLASS
A wide range of yellow and exotic fruits including fresh peaches and gooseberries.
The wine has a beautiful acidity and elegance with a creamy, full-bodied finish
and impressive length.

A great all-rounder served at 8-10°C.

IN THE WINERY
Even a small vineyard has characteristic corners, hollows and hills where the vines bear special grapes. If you roam through a vineyard before the harvest and taste the ripe grapes, you can spot these special sections and delineate the zone. In our vineyard in Monticolo, these are the top rows of the Sauvignon Blanc vineyard. The strict selection of these ten rows of vines that bear particularly tasty and fleshy grapes are the special feature and basis for this unique wine.
IN THE WINE CELLAR
Fermented and matured for six months in purpose-made 600-litre wooden barrels, this wine can develop its fullness and fruit intensity. Afterwards, the wine is allowed to mature in the bottle for another six months.
IN THE GLASS
A fine aroma of citrus and spicy, sweet and tropical fruits. Pleasant aroma of fresh confectionery. Incredibly long on the palate with a fiery acid-salt play and a very long finish of fruit sweetness and tropical fruits.

LAGREIN ROSÉ

THE WINERY
The Lagrein Rosé comes from vineyards directly next to the private beach of Hotel
Seeleiten at 230 meters above sea level and 50m from the lake.
IN THE WINE CELLAR
Gentle pressing and clarification of the must by natural sedimentation of the
turbid substances. This is followed by a relatively cool, temperature-controlled
fermentation. Followed by ripening and storage for 5-6 months on fine yeast.
IN THE GLASS
A bright shiny pink with subtle raspberry-coloured reflections. Intense fruity notes
of ripe pineapple, cherries and wild strawberries, paired with fresh acidity.
Pleasing, light finish.
AT THE TABLE
A great aperitif and summer wine that is ideal with light dishes like carpaccio and
buffalo mozzarella. Cooled to 6-8°C this wine guarantees a great pleasure.

IN THE WINERY
The 50- to 60-year-old vines in classic locations directly at Lake Caldaro/Kaltern
are cultivated using the classic pergola system. A south-western orientation as
well as deposits from the last ice age give this typical Kalterer its distinctive
character.
IN THE WINE CELLAR
Temperature controlled slow mash fermentation followed by biological acid
decomposition. Storage and maturation on the fine yeast for 4 months.
IN THE GLASS
A bright and clear ruby red. In the drink we find cherry aromas, violets, bitter
almonds and light brioche aromas. Fruity and at the same time soft and elegant.
A very juicy all-rounder with pleasant finish.

Always suitable as an aperitif or for social gatherings. Classic companion of the
South Tyrolean cuisine. The ideal drinking temperature at 10-12°C.

The hand-picked and selected grapes come from two vineyards on
southern and south-western slopes of Lake Caldaro and are characterized
by very low yields. (45hl/hectare).
IN THE WINE CELLAR
The valuable grape material is fermented for 14 days with mash contact.
Gentle mashing with juice extraction. Subsequent biological acid
reduction and storage in small barrique wood barrels for 14 months.

An intense garnet red, spicy chocolate.
Fragrance of ripe berry aroma such as blackberry and cherry fruit.
This wine has a powerful, long lasting, deep and velvety taste.

A classic Bordeaux cuvée with a typical South Tyrolean finish. As a border region
in the cultivation of the heat-loving varieties Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, we
produce spicy, fruity, elegant and deep cuvées. The vines grow in Klughammer
with the best view of lake Caldaro and in a first-class plot in Feld.
IN THE WINE CELLAR
After fermentation, the wine is stored in small wooden barrels for 12 months.
Afterwards, the wine is allowed to develop to drinking maturity in the bottle.
IN THE GLASS
The fine fragrance of wild berries, redcurrant, understorey and sage, combines
exquisitely with the elegant, fine-grained tannin.

A wonderful match for game, wildfowl, lamb, classic meat dishes and hard

IN THE WINERY
This wine is an expression of our love and affinity to Tuscany. The rolling hills,
the density of culture and history, the unique vineyard soils and above all the
friendship with the Tuscan winegrowers are the foundation of this wine.
The Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are the grapes that give this wine its
colouring, tonality and character.

After a maturing phase of twelve months, Gerhard with its great deal of
experience and a distinct sense of taste assembles the individual varieties into an
outstanding cuveé.

The aroma is reminiscent of wild berries, especially blackberries, spicy herbs and
pine. On the palate the wine feels smooth, elegant and precise.

IN THE WINERY
This idea of our own bottle fermentation originated from a long-standing friendship with the organic farmer Remo Tomasi from Maso Bergamini. The vineyard above Trento fulfills all the requirements to produce a fruity and, above all, mineral, almost salty base wine for sparkling wine. What makes it truly unique is the extraordinary altitude of the vineyard combined with
the calcareous basalt soil.
IN THE WINE CELLAR
Ideal storage, at controlled temperatures in the cellars of the Moser winery, refine and perfect this special sparkling wine. After a minimum of 36 months of aging on the lees, each bottle is manually turned on the riddling rack, and the yeast is brought to the bottle neck. After removing the yeast deposit, the sparkling wine bottles are resealed.

With fine effervescence and a subtle aroma of croissant, ripe Gravensteiner apples, and pastries, this sparkling wine fills the glass.

It‘s a beautiful, lively sparkling wine with charming lightness and drinkability. It suits perfectly as an Aperitivo or to light summer dishes.
