Visit some of the numerous churches, museums, castles and agricultural highlights during your stay on our winery.
Our absolute insider tips are, for example, the Castelchiaro/Leuchtenburg castle high above Lake Caldaro/Kaltern (reachable by foot in just under 2 hours), the Messner Moutain Museum Firmian of extreme mountaineer Reinhold Messner at Firmiano/Sigmundskron Castle (15 minutes away by car) and the gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle (30 minutes away by car).
Culinary
Enjoy an espresso on the piazza in Caldaro/Kaltern, visit our farm shop, taste typical South Tyrolean dumplings or dream about Italy with a Pizza Margherita right by the lake. Let yourself be enchanted by the many Alpine-Mediterranean creations that our South Tyrolean cuisine has to offer. Of course, the matching glass of our Moser wine or our own beer "Mendelbier" should not be missing.
Shopping
Visit our farm shop and the many small shops in the town centre of Caldaro/Kaltern. You will find everything from food to clothing, jewellery to typical local holiday souvenirs to take home.
A visit to the provincial capital of Bolzano/Bozen, 20 minutes away, or to the Mediterranean-inspired town of Merano/Meran on the river Passer (30 minutes drive away) should definitely be on your to-do list.
Hiking
Due to the mild climate and the incredible variety of hiking routes, you can look forward to numerous hiking highlights all around the year. Our favourites range from a leisurely hike through the vineyards around Lake Caldaro/Kaltern to a challenging tour up to the Mendola/Mendel, our local mountain.
Mr. Moser invites you to a sociable hike once a week. Sometimes, for example, it's an invigorating hike with a tour of the vineyards to Monticolo/Montiggl and other times it's a torch hike through the vineyards in the evening.
Swimming
Lake Caldaro/Kaltern is considered the warmest bathing lake in the Alps and is known for its excellent water quality. Directly at the lake, our private beach with spacious sunbathing lawn is at your disposal (5 minutes by car). Here you can have fun with stand-up paddling or enjoy the warm rays of the sun.
Biking
The cycling season in Caldaro/Kaltern starts early, ends late and has something for everyone.
Hop on the bike path directly opposite your apartment and explore the idyllic landscape all the way to Bolzano or take the path through the vineyards to Lake Caldaro/Kaltern.
Golfing
Golf enthusiasts have a variety of varied golf courses at their disposal.
While the higher-lying courses such as Monte San Pietro/Petersberg (40 minutes away by car) or Dolomiti Golf (35 minutes away by car) guarantee pleasantly cool temperatures in summer, in Appiano/Eppan (15 minutes away) and Lana (25 minutes away by car), for example, you can improve your handicap from March until November.

Tennis
Among the many inclusive services you enjoy during your holiday at the winery is also free tennis. In Castelvecchio/Altenburg, one of the most beautiful facilities in South Tyrol, (5 minutes away by car) are at your disposal five clay courts, one hard court and an indoor court.
